The dancing devils of Corpus Christi refer to a set of popular religious manifestations in Venezuela during Corpus Christi. They are carried out in various regions of the country and by different groups called brotherhoods or confraternities, which celebrate the presence of Christ in the Blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist according to the doctrine of Catholicism. In total there are 11 brotherhoods and the Diablos Danzantes de Cuyagua are one of them. This traditional celebration includes colorful dances and rituals that have a deep cultural and spiritual meaning for each community.
